Haha, I was going to ask but before I posted I figured it out.

I was going through a parking lot the other day to get iced coffee at the local DD and decided to enter the parking lot from a different way. Change my mannerisms perhaps or just explore and as I passed a MAACO shop I saw a pretty glorious car. I stopped. I had no idea in my town a car like this existed and backed the hell up.

I back in smartly to a caddy corner parked 1947 Bentley. If you Google it, it is more of the 1949 pics. Now, I exit my Abarth. Sounds were heard as I backed in and eyes were raised. Haha! Cool! Yeah! I kill it and hop out and meet a man with the waxed twisted mustache asking about my ride. 160/180 NEED an ECM. Yeah, a blast. Talk about his old car, and today ladies and gents, I popped the door on a 1947 Bently and admired the leather. Like a comfortable tractor. Tip-top for it's day. Beautiful blue car until he mentions the paint and how his employee, his top notch was responsible, as in taking blame.

I slather my eyes across this '47 beauty and cannot but help to realize the serious paint line issue he had with it. I spot it and he looks at me looking. The same man with a Bill Hitchcock upper lip gives me a look. I see it. He knows it. I change the subject so it turns to what I am interested in to break the silence.

Hopping up a Miata with a Ford head, anybody got instructions? He has seen 350hp with a turbo. I wanna see that in my project car. I have a little Exocet project. He has a serious paint problem with this very rare car. He knows I know. Haha!

I guess I cared enough about my buddy at work to try and get a pic so I politely ask if he minded. He said he did NOT. OK, well, shit. Kind of a dick move. I would have let you driven my car in hopes of turning that Bentley just once. I didn't even ask to sit in it. Is a picture all that fucking hard?

Wow, letting that out does feel better.
